Welcome to the Animal Hospital!
We have met the high standards of the American Animal Hospital Association for the last thirty-five years and have been taking care of pets in Casper since 1954! The Animal Hospital proudly boasts being only one of four member veterinary hospitals in the state of Wyoming to have met these standards. Doctors and staff attend annual continuing education sessions and conferences to keep up to date with the ever changing world of veterinary medicine. We also have a variety of client education material in written and video tape form, as well as, educational (we hope) web pages!!!

Tour of our Hospital
Our first stop is the reception area. It is clean and "environmentally friendly". This area is equipped with a scale to weigh in as well as various pet health products and pet foods. A bulletin board is available to place notices of upcoming pet events, "for sale" and "lost and found".
We have two exam rooms and a third consultation room along
with a complete pharmacy to dispense prescription drugs necessary
to help you pet on the road to recovery. We also have the
capability of acquiring other "human" drugs to dispense
when necessary. Be assured that vaccines are stored and
administered properly to your pet. Disposal of these
environmentally unsafe items are also followed appropriately.
Our pharmacy is fully stocked with a variety of medications needed to treat
ailments and diseases we regularly encounter. We also make full use of the local
human pharmacies on some medication not easily obtained through the veterinary
supplies.
We have a fully equipped radiology service complete with an automatic film
processing. capabilities. This diagnostic capability is essential for providing
our patients and their owners peace of mind about their care. We can take a
deeper look (literally) with our video endoscopy when the need arises. 
Electrocardiograms are, also, a routine diagnostic service provided for our patient.
EKG's are a vital part of concerns with your pet's circulatory or respiratory
system.
Next, we see the surgery room. Our two anesthesia machines
that utilize isoflurane anesthetic, one the safest gas anesthetic
available today. Our doctors and technicians have available state
of the art dental equipment, liquid nitrogen surgery and
electorsurgical equipment as well as routine surgical
instrumentation. Respiratory monitors and EKG monitors are standard for every
anesthetic procedure. Pain management medication is a standard part of any
surgical or dental procedure - our patient matter! Procedures range from the routine
procedures, trauma injuries, video endoscopy in a variety of
species.
This room is our in-house laboratory. This hospital has
invested a large amount in equipment so that we can better serve
you. We can do in-house CBC's, blood chemistries, heartworm tests,
and fecals for the fastest results. When we need more than our
facilities can give us, we utilize Wyoming State Veterinary
Laboratory in Laramie and Idexx Veterinary Laboratories in
Broomfield, Colorado.
Animal Hospital provides isolation wards and runs for your
pets to use in times when they are in our hospital for surgery or
illness. Here, we provide all levels of emergency and critical
care for pets. We also have a separate quarantine room especially
for such contagious infections such as, parvo virus, distemper,
leukemia, etc.
Our TLC Professional Grooming is a cut above the rest in
experience and care. Joanne Tanner want your pets to look
as special as they are! We offer grooming weekdays for all types of
dogs.
If you are looking for board your dog or cat, look no farther!
We have large kennels with individual indoor / outdoor runs for
our canine friends and our feline buddies have a whole ward to
themselves. With Veterinary supervision and Science Diet pet
foods, rest assured your pet will receive our best TLC care.
And last but certainly not least is the "TLC Kitten Adoption" area. We nearly always have cute and cuddly kittens looking for a kind and loving family to adopt them. Call us for details on how to obtain one of these "bundles of joy".
