Meet Buzzer!!

Buzzer is a six year old Dachshund. He decided to chase a German Shepherd, but didn't look both ways. Buzzer suffered a severe comminuted fracture (multiple pieces or fractures) of the right femur. Below are radiographs taken before and after his surgery at Animal Hospital in March 1999.

Buzzer's two hour surgery was uncomplicated. He left Animal Hospital after several days of hospitalization in good spirits and showing good mobility. The intramedullary pin was removed mid to summer 99 - well in time to scamper into YEAR 2000!!
