These pets are good examples of moderate to severe gingivitis and periodontal disease. Dental prophylaxis (cleaning) was performed in our dental area under isoflurane gas anesthesia with close monitoring. Home dental care is suggested plus Canine / Feline T/D pet food. Annual dental exams are performed to determine the status and need for further dental care.
