Corneal Foreign Body
Here's "Hunting Hannah". She's a German Long-hair Pointer who loves
the great outdoors and hunting as much as her owners. She developed a very sore
left eye after one of her hunts. Close examination revealed a splinter imbedded
in the cornea (the thin clear layer in the center of the eye).
Follow the progress of the removal of the foreign body in the pictures below (this procedure was preformed with general anesthesia):
